As a Bell Captain, you’re not just overseeing guests’ luggage handling and transportation – you’re leading the bell team, ensuring operational excellence, and spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences for every guest while maintaining the highest service standards.
Here’s what you’ll do during a typical day:
• Lead and supervise the bell team: Coordinate and support bell team to ensure smooth operations across arrivals and departures
• Welcome and assist guests: Greet and escort arriving and departing guests, ensure luggage is handled promptly, and provide a warm, professional first impression
• Oversee luggage operations: Ensure luggage is retrieved, transported, organized, and stored according to hotel standards and procedures
• Ensure service excellence: Monitor and maintain high standards of guest service and team performance at all times
• Coordinate guest transportation: Oversee or assist with the use of hotel vehicles for guest transfers when required
• Maintain operational standards: Ensure bell carts, storage areas, and equipment are clean, safe, and in excellent working condition
• Communicate effectively: Liaise with Front Office and other departments to ensure seamless guest experience and operational flow
• Handle guest requests and issues: Support resolution of guest concerns promptly and professionally
