OPERATIONS SUPPORT SPECIALIST

This position is part of the Air Force Elements, U.S. Transportation Command. The incumbent will be responsible for To serve as the Operations Support Specialist in support of the Chief, Deployment and Distribution Operations Center (DDOC), Global Operations Center (GOC), United States Transportation Command. As a OPERATIONS SUPPORT SPECIALIST at the GS-0301-12 some of your typical work assignments may include: Performs 24/7 watch duties supporting Chief, Deployment and Distribution Operations Center (DDOC), Global Operations Center (GOC), United States Transportation Command. Monitors and reports status of USTRANSCOM Global Operations, planning, execution, logistics, and operational activities of the command and it's Transportation Component Commands (TCC). Monitors and reports all modes of transport through USTRANSCOM, Military Sealift Command (MSC), Army Transportation Command (ARTRANS), Air Mobility Command (AMC), and supporting activities of the Joint Enabling Capabilities Command (JECC). Produces daily current operations reports for the Joint Staff and Command's Senior Leaders. Identifies transportation issues and develops solutions with the staff and joint operations leadership.
