UK&IE Onboarding Coordinator Amazon Logistics is looking to hire an Onboarding Coordinator to play a critical role in ensuring the smooth start of our operations leaders within the business. You will be part of our central Leader Onboarding team that is responsible for the induction and ongoing professional development of leaders within the business. The role of the UK&IE Onboarding Coordinator will be to organize the onboarding schedules of newly hired leaders; liaise with in-country teams; send out appropriate communications to new hires prior to their start date; plan the block scheduling of the full leader onboarding training plan; organize and manage Face-to-face (F2F) and virtual training sessions; assist with logistics planning for onboarding activities; and act as a point of contact for all onboarding queries. The role will also involve the gathering of data, measuring of compliance, and reporting of program metrics to stakeholders. This role provides excellent visibility across different stakeholders within the EU.
Key job responsibilities
Liaising with EU Talent Acquisition to establish details of new leaders (start dates, locations, shifts, etc.)
Liaising with operations teams to organize and create leader onboarding plans
Liaising with support functions to organize virtual training sessions
Communication with training execution teams and Hiring Managers
Share relevant feedback to the Program Managers
Communication of all necessary onboarding information
Management of eLearning curriculum.
Collation of data to measure compliance to onboarding programs
Dissemination of reports to stakeholders
Booking accommodation and travel for new leaders where required
Administration of Onboarding Coordination SharePoint
General adhoc administration tasks and scoping for methods/ideas to improve the onboarding process
Scope for methods and ideas to improve the onboarding process for new hires
- Advanced proficiency in English in both written and verbal communication (C1 Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR)
- Relevant experience within a similar position in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal skills - develops and maintains good working relationships with internal customers, treating others with respect, building trust and rapport.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive work ethic and ability to work with minimal supervision
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail.

Basic qualifications
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office including PowerPoint, Excel, and Word- Advanced proficiency in English in both written and verbal communication (C1 Common European Framework of Reference, CEFR)
- Relevant experience within a similar position in a fast-paced environment.
