Your Job:
The Respiratory Materials Specialist evaluates, procures and maintains equipment and supplies for the Respiratory Therapy Department. This role supports and promotes the vision, mission, and strategic plans of Methodist Health System
Your Job Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Care Program preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support
• 2 years in a healthcare setting
• Strong proficiency using Microsoft Office products
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Strong process orientation
• Detail oriented, logical, and methodological approach to problem solving
• Ability to provide vision and leadership
• Demonstrated capability to interface and maintain effective relationships with all departments and employees in a team-oriented environment

• Completes monthly variance reports with assistance as needed. (Best Value /Financial Accountability)
• Serves as department liaison with Bio-Med department, vendors, etc.
• Collaborates with dept. leadership to conduct product evaluations, educational in-servicing, and equipment/supply implementation.
• Maintains rental equipment budget within 10% of projection.
• Maintains accurate equipment inventory and stocks supplies as needed
