Accountabilities:

    The Lead Integration Engineer is responsible for leading technical delivery, managing integration initiatives, and ensuring engineering teams follow best practices across enterprise technology projects. Key responsibilities include:

    • Lead and mentor integration engineers by providing guidance, performance feedback, technical coaching, and ongoing professional development support.
    • Manage daily engineering workflows, including project planning, technical documentation, scheduling, customer communications, and delivery tracking.
    • Oversee large-scale technology initiatives including corporate office integrations, Microsoft 365 migrations, application migrations, office relocations, closures, and infrastructure consolidation projects.
    • Partner with internal technology teams and external vendors to develop migration strategies, deployment plans, project estimates, and implementation runbooks.
    • Collaborate with networking, cloud, application, security, and operations teams to ensure solutions meet technical standards and business requirements.
    • Support migration of legacy applications and infrastructure into modern cloud environments while maintaining system stability and user experience.
    • Ensure engineering quality through training, onboarding, technical reviews, and adherence to configuration and deployment standards.
    • Participate in site assessments, integrations, and relocation projects to provide hands-on technical leadership and ensure successful execution.
    • Represent integration initiatives during change management processes, including change approvals, access requests, deployment planning, and technical reviews.
    • Monitor system performance, identify technical issues, implement improvements, and support security, backup, and business continuity strategies.
    • Act as an escalation point for complex technical challenges while identifying skill gaps and creating development plans for engineering teams.
    • Support recruitment activities by reviewing candidates, participating in interviews, and assisting with onboarding and training of new technical staff.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate brings extensive enterprise infrastructure experience, strong leadership capabilities, and the ability to manage complex technical projects across distributed environments. Required qualifications include:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline preferred.
      • 12+ years of progressive experience in systems administration, infrastructure engineering, technical consulting, or related technology roles.
      • Experience leading distributed technical teams across multiple geographic regions.
      • Strong expertise with Microsoft technologies including Windows Server, Windows environments, Active Directory, Group Policy, Azure, and Intune.
      • Advanced understanding of enterprise networking concepts, including TCP/IP, OSI model, routing, switches, routers, firewalls, LAN/WAN environments, and Layer 3 networking.
      • Hands-on experience with Microsoft 365, Exchange migrations, cloud migrations, and enterprise application transitions.
      • Experience with migration platforms and tools such as Mover.io, AvePoint, Syncovery, Quest, or similar solutions.
      • Knowledge of infrastructure lifecycle management, hardware deployment, network/server patching, and asset management processes.
      • Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMware and enterprise monitoring platforms including PRTG or Nagios.
      • Familiarity with enterprise backup and replication solutions such as Veeam, Backup Exec, Double-Take, or RecoverPoint.
      • Experience working with Managed Service Providers (MSPs) or delivering scalable technology solutions in client environments.
      • Strong project management skills with experience using tools such as Smartsheet, MS Project, Visio, and Microsoft productivity platforms.
      • Excellent communication, problem-solving, organization, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to both technical and executive audiences.
      • Relevant enterprise certifications in Microsoft, Cisco, Fortinet, cybersecurity, or related technologies are strongly preferred.
      • Valid driver’s license and international passport required.
      • Ability to travel extensively (approximately 65%) throughout the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom, with residence within one hour of a major international airport.
