Accountabilities:

    The Designer will be responsible for developing accurate technical documentation and supporting the delivery of pipeline and mapping projects. The role requires strong attention to detail, quality control expertise, and the ability to collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure successful outcomes.

    • Develop, review, and validate final project deliverables in collaboration with Project Managers and Survey & Mapping Managers to maintain quality assurance and quality control standards.
    • Create and update alignment sheets, property plats, detailed construction drawings, exhibit drawings, and permit documentation.
    • Design pipeline layouts and mapping solutions using survey data, field notes, and project-specific information.
    • Interpret technical data and convert project requirements into accurate and professional design documents.
    • Assemble complete delivery packages according to client specifications and project requirements.
    • Support continuous improvement of design processes, documentation standards, and project workflows.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mapping and pipeline design, with strong technical skills and the ability to manage detailed engineering documentation. This position requires independence, accuracy, and effective collaboration with technical teams and project stakeholders.

      • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in mapping and pipeline design.
      • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and related design workflows.
      • Strong understanding of preparing complete drawing and documentation packages.
      • Previous experience supporting natural gas pipeline projects is required.
      • Ability to interpret survey information, field notes, and technical requirements.
      • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and quality standards.
      • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with project teams.
      • Strong communication skills and commitment to delivering accurate, client-focused results.
