Job Description
As a member of the Nuclear Steam team, you will be an active contributor to the business priorities and objectives. This role will require you to drive consistent outage planning, execution and post-outage close out activities across the Nuclear business.

Job Description
- Plan, prepare, and manage projects from beginning to end by reviewing project requirements, setting up projects, mapping POs, developing and executing against cost estimates, establishing project risk analysis and mitigation strategies, and owning performance relative to Fulfillment5 and customer KPI/CTQs targets
- Communicate with Customer Service Managers, Customer Fulfillment Manager, Resource Managers, EHS Managers, and Staff Project Managers to update the job status and ensure project success on a daily basis
- Ensure EHS standards at site are met by working with the Site EHS Specialists to develop and execute FME plans, customer requirements, and overall OneGE EHS plan compliance and completion
- Own the status and monitoring of progress and costs of the project with the support of the project controls team
- Conduct audits and inspections on the work teams during the execution of the installation, commissioning, receiving, operation and maintenance activities
- Analyze and report project close out metrics to determine proximity to operating plan targets
- Review revenue pacing and billing and approve supplier invoices
- Lead shift handover review sessions to improve the effectiveness of future projects
- Implement corrective actions based upon Safety Observations, Advanced Communication Notifications, and Root Cause Analyses
- Support SDs & Operations Leader with demand & capacity planning activities, including LAT meetings & long-term outage forecasting
- Focus on developing and implementing strategies around acquiring, developing and retaining key Field Engineering resources for the region.

Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Science/engineering or equivalent 4 years of experience in power generation industry.
- 5+ years experience and demonstrated success/knowledge with steam turbine and generator maintenance.
- 1+ years of specialized/industry experience of steam turbine, generator & auxiliary system outage planning and execution.
Desired Qualifications:
- Strong Project Management and planning skills (Primavera scheduling tool preferred).
- PC proficiency, web applications including advanced Excel skills.
- Able to interface effectively with all levels of the organization and external customers.
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills and influencing skill.
- Strong technical and maintenance knowledge of steam turbines and generators.
- Strong team leader in dynamic, energetic and complex customer site environments.
- Ability to work under high pressure and constraint time, committed and process oriented.
- Ability to work multiple project simultaneously and effectively in a cross-functional team.
- Ability and willingness to work holidays, weekends and overtime as required by field assignments.
- Management accounting & GE specific accounting practices & operating rhythm.
- Previous experience managing people & career development
- Willingness to travel with short notice and be present on site when needed.
- Ability to influence stakeholders to deliver customer and business needs.
- FEP graduate.
- Six Sigma and Lean experience.
- 3+ Direct people management experience.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $104,200.00 and $173,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
