Job Description
As a Security Officer Driver Credential Checker in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal at a premier commercial real estate location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post. You will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and complete routine patrols to help support a secure environment while providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, managing access control points, and when appropriate, supporting emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and/or credentialing processes to help control authorized access, verify visitor information, and document security-related activities according to site policies.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through the appropriate chain of command when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, common areas, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify security-related concerns and report maintenance and/or life property issues.
- Support tenant and visitor experience by providing directions, answering questions, and maintaining awareness of building activity while following Allied Universal and site-specific protocols.
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- A state, county, and/or city issued security license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
