We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion ERP Lease Accounting Functional Consultant to lead the implementation, enhancement, and support of Oracle Fusion Lease Accounting and Lease Management solutions. The primary focus of this role is to ensure IFRS 16 compliant lease accounting within Oracle Fusion ERP.

Oracle Lease Management will be used primarily as a lease contract repository, with limited operational usage. The consultant will work closely with Finance, Accounting, Compliance, and technical teams to design compliant lease accounting processes, validate accounting outputs, support close activities, and enable audit-ready reporting.

  • Lead the implementation, configuration, testing, enhancement, and support of Oracle Fusion Lease Accounting.
  • Design and configure IFRS 16 compliant lease accounting processes across the lease lifecycle.
  • Configure and validate Right-of-Use asset recognition, lease liability calculations, amortization schedules, remeasurement, reassessment, depreciation schedules, and interest expense calculations.
  • Configure and validate accounting event generation and Oracle Fusion Subledger Accounting for lease accounting transactions.
  • Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end lease accounting close processes.
  • Validate accounting entries, reconciliations, and reporting outputs between Lease Accounting, General Ledger, Fixed Assets, and Accounts Payable.
  • Support statutory reporting, management reporting, regulatory compliance, and audit readiness related to lease accounting.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Accounting teams to resolve issues, improve processes, and ensure alignment with financial controls and compliance requirements.

     

  • Qualifications & Skills
  • Mandatory

  • 5+ years of Oracle ERP experience.
  • 3+ years of Oracle Fusion Lease Accounting implementation and support experience.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS 16 lease accounting requirements.
  • Experience configuring lease accounting calculations, depreciation, amortization, remeasurement, and reassessment schedules.
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Fusion Financials modules, including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, and Fixed Assets.
  • Strong knowledge of Oracle Fusion Subledger Accounting.
  • Ability to validate lease accounting entries, reconciliations, accounting events, and financial reporting outputs.
  • Strong collaboration skills with Finance, Accounting, Compliance, Technical, and Customer teams.
  • Good-to-Have

  • Oracle Fusion Financials Cloud Certification.
  • Accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, CMA, or ACCA.
  • Experience with lease data migration and conversion activities.
  • Experience working in multi-entity or global lease accounting environments.
  • Knowledge of audit, compliance, statutory reporting, and financial controls.
  • Experience in customer-facing consulting, implementation, managed services, or post-go-live support environments.
