Summary:
An experienced SAP Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) Manager to lead the design, deployment, and governance of SAP EWM in a large-scale greenfield SAP S/4HANA transformation program. The role will be responsible for driving end-to-end warehouse transformation, solution architecture, business process standardization, stakeholder management, and successful project delivery from discovery through hyper care.
The ideal candidate will possess strong SAP EWM functional expertise, leadership capabilities, and extensive experience managing global warehouse transformation programs.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Expected to provide solutions to problems that apply across multiple teams.
- Lead the implementation of best practices to enhance software development processes and team productivity.
- Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure seamless integration of custom software components.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system architecture and application performance.
- Lead SAP EWM workstream for greenfield S/4HANA implementation programs.
- Drive solution strategy, roadmap, and deployment approach for warehouse operations.
- Manage project scope, budget, timelines, risks, and dependencies.
- Lead onsite and offshore consulting teams across multiple geographies.
- Report project status to steering committees and executive stakeholders.
- Define target-state warehouse operating model aligned with business objectives.
- Lead Fit-to-Standard workshops and business process design sessions.
- Design and govern SAP EWM solution architecture and integration landscape.
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, clean core principles, and template governance.
- Drive warehouse process standardization across business units and regions.
- Lead team for Cross functional team discussion, Testing, Data Migration & Cut over.
- Mentor EWM consultants and functional leads.
- Build high-performing delivery teams.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP EWM.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns relevant to enterprise applications.
- Experience in leading software development teams and managing complex project deliveries.
- Ability to analyze and resolve technical challenges while maintaining alignment with business objectives.
- Familiarity with performance tuning, scalability considerations, and code quality assurance techniques.
- Must Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP EWM.
- Strong knowledge of Cross-Functional Integration between EWM and MM, SD, PP, QM, RF Device and
automation with 3PL & manufacturing systems
- Experience in leading software development teams and managing complex project deliveries.
- Ability to analyze and resolve technical challenges while maintaining alignment with business
objectives.
- Familiarity with performance Data Migration, Cutover Planning and Testing.
