Job Description

The Licensing and Contracting Representative will be responsible for assisting agents in the field by processing carrier applications, answering commissions questions, and providing back-office support to help streamline the agent's daily operations so they can maximize sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Answer inbound calls and make outbound calls as needed 

  • Respond to agent emails via a Ticket System 

  • Provide agents with back-office support 

  • Assist agents with commissions questions, leads support, product information, and more 

  • Promote and support Allstate Health product sales 

  • Maintain positive working relationships with assigned accounts 

  • Meet or exceed call quality metrics 

  • Provide world class support on every call 

  • Additional projects as available and assigned 

Skills and Competencies: 

  • Insurance industry knowledge, specifically Life & Health is required 

  • Background in account management   

  • Exceptional phone etiquette 

  • Excellent written, verbal, listening and interpersonal skills 

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload with little oversight 

  • Ability to work remotely, with a team of others who are also working remotely  

  • Sit and work at a computer for long periods of time is required 

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite 

  • Ability to work with and navigate through multiple computer screens 

  • Intermediate knowledge on how to use a computer, if issues arise should be able to do minor troubleshooting 

  • Positive attitude  

Education

  • High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Experience

  • 2 years Customer Service and Call Center experience (Required)

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • This job does not have supervisory duties.

Compensation

Compensation offered for this role is 17.98 - 26.16 per hour and is based on experience and qualifications.

The candidate(s) offered this position will be required to submit to a background investigation.
