Position Summary
The Picnic Attendant is responsible for serving guests in the Picnic area. The Picnic Attendant must be personable and able to work in an ever-changing fast-paced environment.This role pays an hourly rate of $14.00-$16.00 and is tip eligible. This is a seasonal role from July 1, 2026, and will end on August 31, 2026. This position will remain open until August 31, 2026.
Responsibilities
Responsible for assisting with the setup of food service areas within specific suites / Picnics and club areas based upon pre-orderEnsures all assigned suites / Picnics are set prior to event based upon communication received of ordersResponsible for organization and preparation of events in assigned locationsResponsible for assisting in closing out financials per event and ensuring correct billing takes placeMonitor and maintain food qualityFollows all company policies and procedures, upholding safety and sanitation standards, and ensuring a positive atmosphere for team members and guestsMonitor and enforce safe alcohol policies and proceduresMonitor and maintain inventory control and product requisition fulfillingHave full knowledge of food and beverage menu items and accompanimentsResponsible for supervising the service of beverages to guests, including alcoholic beveragesCheck guest’s ID to verify minimum age requirement for the purchase of alcoholic beveragesResponsible for observing guests to respond to any additional requestsResponsible for ensuring the suite / Picnic has all necessary serving wareMaintains sanitation, health and safety standards in work areasShow demonstrated ability to meet the company standard for excellent attendanceAssures that the location equipment is operable and clean prior to start of eventResponsible for recognizing guests that are visibly intoxicated and taking action to cut off alcohol to such individualsAll other duties as assigned by the managers and supervisors
Qualifications
Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic and cooperative work environmentPrevious experience in the food service industry is a plus.Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environmentPossess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulationsAbility to handle cash accurately and responsiblyAbility to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory
