Accountabilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for insurance product implementations, enhancements, and system changes.
- Partner with Product Managers, Actuaries, Compliance teams, and Engineering resources to translate product specifications, underwriting rules, and regulatory requirements into clear implementation requirements.
- Configure and support insurance product implementations, including coverages, rating structures, policy forms, and underwriting rules within internal platforms.
- Review product configurations, rating algorithms, and rate tables to validate accuracy, completeness, and alignment with approved requirements.
- Research and analyze policy forms, endorsements, and regulatory documentation to support compliant product delivery.
- Create, execute, and maintain test cases and scenarios for system testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing.
- Validate rating calculations, coverage rules, policy forms, and system functionality while identifying issues and partnering with technical teams through resolution.
- Maintain detailed implementation documentation and contribute to knowledge-sharing processes for new launches and system improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure initiatives are delivered accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.
- Continuously expand knowledge of insurance products, industry practices, system functionality, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 2–4 years of experience in insurance product implementation, business analysis, system configuration, or a related discipline.
- Property and casualty insurance experience is preferred.
- Foundational understanding of insurance policy forms, endorsements, regulatory filings, underwriting concepts, and rating methodologies.
- Experience gathering, documenting, validating, and translating business and system requirements.
- Experience developing, executing, and documenting test cases for system implementations and product enhancements.
- Ability to analyze rating structures, algorithms, and system outputs with strong attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Familiarity with policy administration systems and willingness to deepen technical and insurance expertise over time.
- Competitive salary range of $72,540–$80,600 USD, with bonus eligibility.
