In this position... 
Finance strategically partners with operations to drive outstanding business results and enhance Ford’s industry leadership. When you join us, you’ll be able to contribute financial expertise that impacts all areas of our company, including planning, manufacturing, marketing and global distribution.

As our Treasury & Cash Management Analyst for South America you will be responsible for managing daily cash operations, liquidity, and banking activities across multiple countries in the region. This role ensures accurate cash positioning, timely execution of payments, effective bank relationship management, and compliance with internal treasury policies and local regulations.

  • Optimize Daily Liquidity: Monitor and manage daily cash positions across multiple South American bank accounts and currencies to ensure all regional entities are optimally funded.
  • Execute Secure Payments: Direct domestic and international payments, ensuring complete accuracy, timely execution, and compliance with internal authorization matrices and local banking regulations.
  • Forecast Cash Flow: Prepare and analyze short-term cash flow forecasts to support strategic regional liquidity management and proactive funding decisions.
  • Reconcile & Resolve: Perform daily bank statement reconciliations, proactively investigating and resolving discrepancies to maintain accounting precision.
  • Enforce Compliance & Controls: Ensure all banking activities and treasury operations adhere strictly to internal controls, corporate policies, and local country regulations.
  • Drive Continuous Improvement: Support key treasury projects, ERP/treasury system implementations, and process enhancements to scale operational efficiency across the region.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience: Typically 1+ years of experience in corporate treasury, finance, accounting, or a closely related financial operations role.
  • Technical Tools: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (with strong Excel skills); familiarity with ERP systems (like SAP or Oracle) or Treasury Management Systems (TMS) is highly regarded.
  • Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of foundational financial and accounting concepts, with excellent analytical and logical reasoning skills.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to collaborate effectively with diverse regional teams and banking partners.
  • Organization & Time Management: Exceptional organizational skills with a proven ability to prioritize tasks, multi-task, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Work Mode & Location: Ability to work in a Hybrid model, with the flexibility to work at Global Technology and Business Center (GTBC) in Naucalpan, Mexico.
