Accountabilities:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of engineers, ensuring strong performance, technical development, and career progression within a collaborative and high-autonomy environment.
- Define and uphold engineering standards, best practices, and code review processes to ensure high-quality, scalable, and maintainable software delivery.
- Work closely with product managers and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical execution and ensure alignment on priorities and outcomes.
- Provide technical leadership through participation in architecture discussions, code reviews, and engineering-wide initiatives across teams.
- Collaborate with engineering leadership to support performance management, career pathing, and team development frameworks.
- Drive improvements in system reliability, scalability, and delivery processes for data connectivity and infrastructure services.
- 9–13 years of total software engineering experience, including 2–3 years in an engineering management or team leadership role.
- Strong background in software development, ideally with experience in Java and backend systems.
- Solid understanding of database technologies, including relational, cloud-based, and NoSQL systems.
- Proven ability to lead engineering teams with empathy, strong communication, and a focus on individual and team growth.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
- Strong sense of ownership, alignment with engineering best practices, and ability to operate in fast-paced, autonomous teams.
