This position plays an important role in advancing system performance, reliability, and safety through the integration of modern technologies and sound engineering practices. This role may be filled at the Engineer III or Senior Engineer level depending on experience, scope of responsibility, and demonstrated capabilities. At Williams, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful projects, collaborate with strong teams, and build a career that creates lasting impact.Responsibilities / ExpectationsDesign, implement, and optimize electrical systems and power distribution networks supporting critical infrastructure such as pipelines, compressor stations, and storage facilities, with full design ownership and leadership responsibilities at the Senior Engineer levelProvide technical expertise in power distribution, electrical schematics, and system layouts for both new construction and upgrades to existing facilitiesIntegrate advanced technologies including automation, real-time monitoring, and energy storage to enhance system performance and reduce operational costs, with the Senior Engineer championing adoption and driving innovation across projectsParticipate in engineering projects from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with business goals, timelines, and budget constraints, with the Senior Engineer leading complex projects end-to-endDevelop and implement safety-focused designs including arc flash mitigation and fault detection systems to protect personnel and ensure infrastructure reliabilityEnsure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory standards across electrical systems and project executionCollaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver engineering solutions that meet internal and external customer needsSenior Electrical Engineers provide technical leadership by leading complex projects end-to-end, driving innovation and technology adoption, mentoring engineers, and influencing technical direction, project outcomes, and best practices.​Required QualificationsBachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from an ABET accredited college or universityOR bachelor’s degree in engineering technology from an ABET accredited college or university in a relevant field with Professional Engineer (P.E.) licenseElectrical Engineer III's typically requires a minimum of 4 years of engineering...
