WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As a Senior Product Manager, you will report to the Director of Product for Nike’s Activity Apps & Research. You will partner closely with design, engineering, data science, marketing, sport experts, trainers, coaches, and cross-functional business partners to create digital experiences that help athletes start, stay motivated, train consistently, and achieve their personal goals. You will own the product roadmap, translate athlete and business needs into clear product priorities, and drive alignment from discovery through delivery, launch, and ongoing optimization.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You will have:
Bachelor’s degree in business, product management, computer science, data science, sports science, or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience or training
A minimum of 3–5+ years of product management experience, preferably with consumer mobile apps, digital fitness, connected health, membership, coaching, content, or engagement platforms.
Passion for sport, movement, and helping athletes of all levels build confidence, stay motivated, and reach their goals through intuitive, inspiring digital experiences.
Strong ability to translate athlete insights, behavioral data, training journeys, coaching needs, and market trends into clear product requirements, user stories, success metrics, and prioritized roadmaps.
Proven experience delivering consumer-facing product experiences that improve onboarding, habit formation, personalization, motivation, community, content discovery, or activity tracking.
Demonstrated ability to define product strategy, make prioritization trade-offs, build business cases, and influence cross-functional partners across product, design, engineering, marketing, analytics, content, sport, and leadership.
Experience using data and research to understand athlete behavior, identify opportunities, measure engagement and retention, evaluate feature performance, and guide product decisions.
Solid understanding of mobile app product development, including iOS and Android experiences, platform integrations, experimentation, personalization, privacy, accessibility, performance, and operational reliability.
Experience partnering with engineering and design teams to evaluate solution options, clarify scope, manage dependencies, support agile delivery, and deliver high-quality experiences for athletes globally.
Strong customer discovery and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to uncover athlete needs, validate assumptions, and turn qualitative and quantitative feedback into actionable product decisions.
Excellent written and verbal communication; able to influence senior leaders, product partners, engineers, designers, sport experts, and business stakeholders through clear product storytelling.
Deep fluency in modern ML and generative AI - enough to engage substantively with engineers and data scientists on models, evaluation, and data pipelines, and to make sound product trade-offs.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with digital fitness, wellness, coaching, activity tracking, wearable integrations, training plans, guided content, challenges, achievements, or community-based motivation features.
Familiarity with Nike Run Club, Nike Training Club, or comparable consumer fitness products that combine coaching, content, community, personalization, and progress tracking to support athlete goals.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As the Senior Product Manager for Nike’s Activity Apps, you will define and deliver product experiences across NRC (Nike Run Club) and NTC (Nike Training Club) that help athletes start moving, train with confidence, stay consistent, connect with community, and celebrate progress. You will help shape how Nike delivers coaching, guidance, motivation, and personalized activity experiences to athletes around the world.
Product Roadmap & Strategic Leadership
You will own and drive the product roadmap for NRC and NTC experiences in close partnership with design, engineering, data science, marketing, content, sport experts, and business stakeholders—translating athlete needs and business priorities into product strategy, quarterly priorities, measurable outcomes, and delivery plans.
You will identify opportunities to improve how athletes discover workouts and runs, follow training plans, receive coaching guidance, track activity, build habits, participate in challenges, and celebrate achievements.
You will lead stakeholder engagement—providing regular updates to senior product and business partners, gathering requirements and feedback, clarifying trade-offs, and ensuring product decisions balance athlete value, brand impact, business outcomes, technical feasibility, and operational readiness.
Product Discovery & Delivery Leadership
You will lead product discovery and definition within your squad and across related teams—clarifying athlete journeys, documenting requirements, defining acceptance criteria, prioritizing backlog items, and representing the product area in cross-functional planning forums.
You will shape experiences that connect coaching, training plans, guided runs, workouts, activity tracking, wearable integrations, personalized recommendations, achievements, and community challenges into simple, motivating journeys for athletes at every level.
You will collaborate with globally distributed teams—driving alignment across time zones, coordinating dependencies, supporting release readiness, and ensuring product capabilities are launched, measured, and optimized for athletes across markets.
