Associate Software Engineer - Fleet Console Next
The Red Hat Engineering team is looking for a highly motivated and skilled Associate UI Engineer to join us in Brno, Czech Republic. In this role, you will contribute to the next generation UI console for Openshift Fleet Management. You will serve as an engineer building frontend Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) features and implementing AI-driven enhancements. As a developer on the team, you’ll write code, work with the latest technologies, collaborate directly with the PatternFly team, review pull-requests and fix bugs all within a fast-paced agile environment. You’ll need to be someone who is smart, friendly, collaborative and has a passion for learning.
What will you do
Design, develop and deploy UI components and frontend features
Collaborate and innovate cross-functionally with other engineers and directly with the PatternFly team to deliver creative solutions, including implementing AI-driven enhancements
Maintain services once they are live by measuring and monitoring frontend performance, accessibility and overall system health
Partner with the Quality Engineering (QE) team to ensure that features and user interfaces are tested correctly
Contribute to technical documentation and presentations
What will you bring
Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a technology-related discipline
Experience working with JavaScript, TypeScript, React, or similar frontend technologies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and UI/UX principles
Curious and motivated learner with an interest in implementing AI features
Comfortable with rapid iteration and fast delivery
Experience with design library, microservices, and containers is a plus
