How you will make an impact
- Increase business performance through analysis of R&D investments, portfolio decisions, and resource allocation opportunities.
- Improve return on R&D investment by evaluating project execution to strategic plans.
- Enhance leadership decision making through forecasting, budget tracking, variance analysis, and performance reporting.
- Support strategic decision making by creating analysis solutions in support of portfolio evaluations.
- Develop key performance indicators and collaborate to create solutions that improve organizational visibility and accountability.
- Improve business performance through various support opportunities.
The person hired for the position of MedSurg R&D Analyst will be responsible for analysis in support of the R&D organization. This position will collaborate across the business to create analysis and reports for business needs.
Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Business, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Data Analytics from an accredited university AND Five (5) years numeric based experience in finance, market, economics, and/or data analysis.
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
- Experience with finance, market, economics, or investment analysis.
- Knowledge and experienced in current finance practices and policies
- Experience providing data-analysis in support of business decisions
- Experience within MedTech, healthcare, life science, or regulated industries.
- Professional demeanor, solid business acumen, and client service attitude
- Basic Understanding of SAP, Oracle or other related systems
- Requires the ability to communicate in written and spoken English
- Experience leveraging AI to assist in numeric based analysis and work flows
Work location:
- Hybrid- 2 Days a week
- Eagan, MN or San Antonio
Travel: May include up to 10% domestic or international

Applicable to US Applicants Only:The expected compensation range for this position is $83,600 - $114,950, which includes base pay plus variable incentive pay, if eligible. This range represents a good faith estimate for this position. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s relevant knowledge, training, skills, work location, and/or experience. In addition, this position may be eligible for a range of benefits (e.g., Medical, Dental & Vision, Health Savings Accounts, Health Care & Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, Disability Benefits, Life Insurance, Voluntary Benefits, Paid Absences and Retirement Benefits, etc.).
