Accountabilities:
- Drive sales growth of products, software, and services across commercial channels within the assigned territory.
- Identify, engage, and develop relationships with end-user customers through on-site visits, consultations, and solution-based selling.
- Build and maintain strong distributor partnerships through joint sales activities, business planning, and ongoing collaboration.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on safety, security, and related solutions, providing product guidance and training.
- Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and presentations for distributor teams, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and industry developments to identify opportunities and provide insights to sales leadership.
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, manage pipelines, forecast opportunities, and maintain accurate customer information.
- Support regional and national trade shows, conventions, and customer events to increase market awareness.
- Manage territory budgets, including travel expenses and administrative costs, while optimizing available resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to execute customer programs and go-to-market initiatives.
- Minimum of 5 years of field sales experience within industrial safety, security products, or related commercial markets.
- Demonstrated success selling through distribution channels and influencing end-user customers.
- Experience with safety solutions such as Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), electrical safety, or Arc Flash is preferred.
- Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to deliver effective presentations in both in-person and virtual environments.
- Proficiency with CRM platforms and Microsoft Office applications.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and manage a sales pipeline effectively.
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel regularly within the assigned territory, including overnight travel as required.
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage customer needs in a dynamic sales environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
- Previous professional sales training and CRM experience are considered advantages.
- Competitive base salary range of approximately $90,000–$110,000 USD, depending on experience, qualifications, location, and business needs.
