Accountabilities:
- Lead project management activities including standups, sprint planning, backlog grooming, project check-ins, and retrospectives across technical and business teams.
- Track progress, dependencies, risks, and blockers across active workstreams, proactively identifying issues and driving resolution.
- Manage bug tracking, ticket prioritization, and backlog processes to ensure requests are properly organized and addressed.
- Gather feedback from internal users to identify challenges, improve workflows, and uncover opportunities for enhancement.
- Define and improve team processes and operational standards in partnership with engineering, data, and business leaders.
- Translate incoming requests, feature ideas, integrations, and partner needs into clear technical requirements and actionable tickets.
- Investigate technical issues by reviewing user interfaces, datasets, and code to better understand problems before escalation.
- Coordinate data expansion initiatives, including data acquisition, onboarding, validation, and quality assurance activities.
- Manage communication with external partners regarding project timelines, progress, and delivery expectations.
- Balance technical capacity with business priorities by helping teams focus on high-impact initiatives.
- Develop expertise in internal tools, data products, and workflows while supporting quality assurance for releases and technical deliverables.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including user guides, project records, decision logs, and operational materials.
- Prepare concise leadership updates highlighting progress, risks, priorities, and key decisions.
- 4–8 years of experience in technical project management, program management, or a related role.
- Strong understanding of software development processes, including development lifecycles, release management, version control, and testing practices.
- Ability to work closely with engineers, understand technical concepts, review code or data, and participate in meaningful technical discussions.
- Experience with Python, SQL, AWS, and JavaScript is preferred.
- Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear requirements, priorities, and executable plans.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams while maintaining attention to detail.
- Ability to introduce effective processes without creating unnecessary complexity or overhead.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear updates and align diverse stakeholders.
- Experience working with data-sensitive systems, transactional workflows, or regulated industries such as insurance, banking, or financial services is preferred.
- Experience in both startup and larger organizational environments is a plus.
- Experience supporting organizational growth, acquisitions, or significant business transformations is beneficial.
- Competitive salary range of $130,000–$170,000 plus annual target bonus.
