NFON operates a highly redundant infrastructure targeting 99.999% of availability and the network is crucial here.  You have a solid understanding of networking at layer 2 (Switching) and layer 3 (Routing) and ideally experience with dynamic routing protocols (BGP, OSPF). You feel comfortable crafting firewall policies to secure the communication in a geographically diverse network.  You are familiar with the Python programming language and have already worked with it to automate tasks in the network. NFON is connected to the Internet autonomously with its own AS number and connected to multiple carriers. NFON is a RIPE LIR and manages its own IPv4 and IPv6 allocations. NFON has connections to the Internet Exchanges at DECIX in Frankfurt/M and LINX in London.
