Accountabilities:

    • Lead the delivery and management of Environmental Assessment (EA) and Preliminary Design (PD) portfolios for transportation infrastructure projects across municipal and provincial clients.
    • Oversee project execution for highway expansions, road improvements, and interchange modification initiatives, ensuring quality, compliance, and timely delivery.
    • Manage multidisciplinary teams and coordinate contributions across engineering, environmental, and planning disciplines.
    • Support business growth by leveraging existing client relationships and identifying opportunities to expand EA & PD services in the region.
    • Provide hands-on project leadership for Ministry of Transportation and municipal infrastructure assignments.
    • Ensure alignment of project outcomes with regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and client expectations.
    • Guide technical decision-making and contribute to high-level design and planning strategies during early project phases.
    • Mentor and support team members while fostering strong collaboration across internal and external stakeholders.
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
      • 12+ years of experience delivering Environmental Assessment and Preliminary Design projects for major infrastructure programs.
      • Proven hands-on project management experience with Ministry of Transportation (MTO) or equivalent large public-sector clients.
      • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation in Canada.
      • Strong experience leading multidisciplinary teams on complex transportation and infrastructure projects.
      • Deep understanding of EA processes, preliminary design workflows, and transportation infrastructure planning.
      • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
      • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple large-scale projects and contribute to business development efforts.
