Accountabilities:

    The Java Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining backend solutions, ensuring code quality, scalability, and alignment with technical standards.

    • Develop and maintain backend applications using Java 17 or 21, applying best practices for performance, security, and maintainability.
    • Design, build, and integrate REST APIs to support business applications and digital solutions.
    • Develop and maintain microservices architectures, ensuring scalability and reliability.
    • Work with messaging and event-driven solutions using technologies such as Kafka.
    • Apply software engineering best practices, including design patterns, clean code principles, and efficient development workflows.
    • Manage source code using GitHub and participate in collaborative development processes.
    • Support application deployment and operation using containerization technologies such as Docker.
    • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to analyze requirements, solve technical challenges, and deliver high-quality solutions.
    • Work with cloud environments, particularly Azure, to support modern application architectures.
    • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, technical discussions, and software development standards.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is a backend developer with strong Java expertise and experience building scalable enterprise applications.

      • Professional experience as a Java Developer at the Pleno or Senior level.
      • Strong knowledge of Java 17 or 21.
      • Experience developing REST APIs and microservices architectures.
      • Experience with Kafka or similar messaging/event-streaming technologies.
      • Knowledge of Docker and container-based development environments.
      • Understanding of software design patterns and clean architecture principles.
      • Experience using GitHub or similar version control platforms.
      • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure.
      • Ability to analyze technical requirements and translate them into efficient solutions.
      • Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and ability to collaborate effectively with technology teams.
