**About The Role:**
InEight is seeking a highly connected industry leader with deep experience in the Western Australian resources, energy and/or major projects sectors to drive strategic growth across Mining, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and Government sectors. The Account Director will leverage an established network of industry relationships to engage senior stakeholders, project leadership teams and operational decision-makers within asset owners, EPCs, engineering consultancies and Government organisations. Acting as a trusted advisor, the Account Director will help organisations improve project certainty, governance, project controls, capital efficiency and delivery outcomes through the adoption of InEight's integrated project delivery platform.
The ideal candidate is likely to come from a strategic business development, management consulting, project advisory, capital projects or engineering consulting background. They will be recognised within the Western Australian market as someone who can open doors, influence decisions and engage stakeholders on complex business challenges. They will possess strong credibility with project delivery and project controls professionals while also being capable of building trusted relationships with a range of stakeholders, up to and including executive leadership teams responsible for the strategic direction of their organisations.
The ideal candidate will be able to develop new business opportunities, cross-sell into an existing account portfolio and retain accounts through excellent customer service and the development of long-term partnerships across multiple organisational levels. InEight's highly attractive and uncapped commission structure is designed to reward high performance, and you will be provided high levels of autonomy coupled with cross-functional support to deliver quality outcomes.
**What Does Success Look Like?**
Industry Leadership & Multi-Tiered Stakeholder Engagement
+ Develop and maintain trusted advisor relationships with senior leaders across Western Australia's Mining, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and Government sectors.
+ Leverage an established network of industry contacts to identify, influence and create strategic opportunities within target accounts.
+ Engage key stakeholders including Project Information Managers, Engineering Managers, Project Controls Managers, Project Services Leaders, Project Directors, General Managers, Digital Transformation Leaders, Capital Portfolio Leaders and C-suite executives.
+ Facilitate multi-tiered stakeholder discussions around project performance, governance, capital delivery, productivity improvement, risk management and digital transformation.
+ Act as an industry thought leader by representing InEight at industry forums, conferences and relevant associations.
Create Strategic Opportunities
+ Develop and execute a sales territory plan focused on Western Australia's major project owners and delivery organisations across Mining, Energy, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and Government sectors.
+ Identify and pursue opportunities through:
+ Existing relationships
+ Attending industry associations and forums
+ Major project intelligence and capital investment pipelines
+ LinkedIn Sales Navigator, market intelligence platforms and intent-based data
+ Referrals from industry partners, customers and stakeholders
+ Focus on developing strategic opportunities where InEight can influence enterprise-wide project delivery transformation rather than individual project-level software purchases.
Guide Enterprise Transformation
+ Develop a deep understanding of client capital project portfolios, delivery models and business priorities.
+ Identify strategic business challenges relating to project controls, cost management, schedule performance, governance, reporting and project execution.
+ Lead consultative discussions with a broad range of stakeholders regarding project delivery maturity and digital transformation initiatives.
+ Position InEight's integrated platform capable of enabling improved project outcomes across an entire organisation or capital portfolio.
+ Build business cases and value propositions that resonate with both operational leaders and decision-makers.
+ Coordinate stakeholder briefings, workshops and engagement programs across multiple business units.
+ Orchestrate complex enterprise sales pursuits involving multiple internal stakeholders.
+ Negotiate and close high-value strategic partnerships and enterprise agreements.
**Essential Skills & Competencies:**
+ Proven ability to establish credibility and operate as a trusted advisor with decision-making functions across complex, multi-layered organisations.
+ Strong understanding of capital projects, project delivery, project controls and large-scale asset development environments.
+ Advanced consultative selling, advisory and business development capabilities.
+ Exceptional relationship building and networking skills.
+ Strong commercial acumen and experience developing business cases.
+ Ability to navigate multi-year strategic pursuits involving numerous stakeholders and decision-makers.
+ Excellent facilitation, presentation and communication skills.
+ Demonstrated ability to identify transformational business opportunities and convert them into enterprise-scale commercial outcomes.
**Experience:**
+ 10+ years' experience in business development, strategic advisory, management consulting, enterprise sales or leadership roles serving capital-intensive industries.
+ Established network of decision-makers across Mining, Oil & Gas, Energy, Infrastructure and Government sectors within Western Australia.
+ Proven track record working with resource companies, energy producers, EPC contractors, engineering consultancies or major project delivery organisations.
+ Previous experience advising organisations on capital projects, project controls, project delivery, operational improvement, business transformation or digital transformation initiatives.
+ Demonstrated success influencing and engaging stakeholders from Project Controls, Project Services and Project Delivery functions through to leadership teams and board level decision-makers.
+ Experience securing and leading complex enterprise agreements valued in excess of $1M.
+ Familiarity with project delivery technology, construction technology, enterprise software, project controls systems or digital transformation programs would be highly regarded.
+ Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Engineering or related disciplines. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualifications are also highly regarded.
