Raytheon is seeking a Digital Engineer (Systems Engineering) to perform Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) in support of enterprise-wide systems engineering and integration support within the Intelligence Community. The ideal candidate will apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Engineering practices to define system architecture, manage interfaces, and ensure traceability of requirements to technical solutions. Location: Aurora, Colorado

What You Will Do

  • Apply Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Engineering practices to define system architecture, manage interfaces, and ensure traceability of requirements to technical solutions.
  • Developing and maintaining system models using tools such as Cameo Systems Modeler, as well as utilizing computer-based simulations to analyze and optimize the performance of complex systems within a digital engineering environment.
  • Supports the programs and customer Digital transformation initiatives/roadmap.
  • Support the Systems Integration team (SI) by providing systems engineering and integration support to the program.  

Qualifications You Must Have

  • Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM preferred) and a minimum of 5 years of prior engineering experience or equivalent experience.
  • Experience in programming/scripting languages (C++, JavaScript, Python, etc.)
  • Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering; use of tools such as CAMEO, MagicDraw, EA
  • Experience with digital engineering practices and tool chains to enhance design, integration, and test workflows.
  • An active and transferable TS/SCI CI Poly U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for the required security clearance.

  • Experience with Systems installation, integration and test
  • Experience with Engineering technical and project management.
  • Experience collaborating with internal and external customers in a team environment
  • Experience with Request For Change (RFC) impact reviews and assessment

The salary range for this role is 86,800 USD - 165,200 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
