Accountabilities:
- Own strategic partnerships end-to-end, identifying, evaluating, negotiating, and closing providers that strengthen payment capabilities across global and Latin American markets.
- Develop long-term partner strategies and roadmaps aligned with business priorities and growth objectives.
- Lead commercial negotiations, including pricing structures, incentives, volume tiers, rebates, and operational service-level agreements.
- Manage the full RFP and vendor selection lifecycle, including requirements definition, evaluation frameworks, due diligence, scoring, recommendations, and decision-making processes.
- Drive collaboration across Product, Engineering, Operations, Treasury, Compliance, Fraud, Legal, and other internal teams to ensure successful integrations and launches.
- Define integration priorities, support implementation planning, and ensure partner solutions meet operational and business requirements.
- Improve payment economics and operational performance by optimizing costs, settlement times, reliability, and scalability.
- Build and monitor performance dashboards, KPIs, and success metrics to ensure partnerships generate measurable impact.
- Represent the organization externally in strategic partner discussions, industry events, and ecosystem forums.
- Act as a trusted partner to leadership by providing insights, recommendations, and strategic direction on payment infrastructure opportunities.
- Proven experience working across payment ecosystems in the US, Europe, and/or Latin America, with strong knowledge of financial infrastructure and payment providers.
- Experience managing strategic partnerships, payment products, banking relationships, or similar roles within fintech, financial services, or technology environments.
- Strong end-to-end ownership skills, from opportunity identification and strategy development through execution and delivery.
- Excellent commercial negotiation abilities, including experience with pricing, contracts, SLAs, incentives, and partnership agreements.
- Strong strategic thinking, business planning, and analytical problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience leading RFP processes, vendor evaluations, and complex decision-making frameworks.
- Ability to influence executives, present recommendations clearly, and manage relationships with key stakeholders.
- Strong prioritization skills and ability to operate effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder management skills.
- Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Deep expertise with global payment providers and payment rails such as ACH, SWIFT, or similar systems is highly valued.
- Experience with cryptocurrency, blockchain, or digital financial products is a plus.
