Role Responsibilities:

  • Product Marketing
    • Analyse market trends and size. Understand Market regulation & competitive landscape, product gaps and customers’ requirements. Contribute to Customer Value Maps creation for big programs
    • Understanding local product strategy, brand positioning & GTM strategy
    • For prioritized new product requests, deliver product concept & drive product development with product Management & engineering team.
    • Develop the business case including price position, value chain, sales & profit forecast, liaising with factory sales team on commercial aspects up to PP0
    • Key contact for regulatory compliance—monitoring requirements, aligning with factories, and ensuring products meet updated standards.
    • Develop compelling product narratives and differentiated value propositions. Identifying product unique selling points and translating them into customer-facing value propositions.
  • Marketing & Communications
    • Devise and implement social media content, media strategy and email marketing targeting key influencers.
    • Maintain and update websites for Malaysia
    • Annual advertising & promotion calendar budget and track actual spending to be within forecast.
    • Managing product launch events / seminars / dealer events (offline and online)

Role Purpose:

  • Overseeing Residential, Light Commercial and VRF product’s entire lifecycle from conception to launch and beyond. Connects customer needs to product/solution capabilities, defines target audiences and personas, and shapes compelling positioning and messaging, delivers through digital platforms and offline events.
  • Go to person for overall marketing and communications for Carrier Malaysia

Minimum Requirements:

  • Engineering University degree or equivalent; with marketing experience or exposure will be viewed favorably
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, especially with cross-functional teams.
  • Business level English is important
  • Ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment
  • Focus on details to close out issues with a strong sense of urgency, quality, self-initiative and customer satisfaction orientation.
