ServiceChannel is seeking an experienced Sr. Director, Sales to lead our India Delivery Center (IDC) commercial organization in Bangalore. This leadership role is responsible for building, scaling, and optimizing a high-performing revenue organization that supports ServiceChannel’s global growth strategy. Initially, the role will lead a team of Relationship Managers responsible for customer retention, expansion, and commercial execution across our SMB and Small Commercial customer segments. Over time, the organization is expected to expand to include Sales Operations, Business Development Representatives (BDRs), Solution Consultants, and additional revenue-generating functions supporting both existing customer growth and new customer acquisition. 

This role will report directly to the Chief Sales Officer and will partner closely with U.S.-based Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, Marketing, and Executive Leadership teams to build scalable processes, drive operational excellence, and create organizational capacity to support future growth. The successful candidate will serve as the senior commercial leader in the IDC, responsible for talent development, performance management, forecasting accuracy, and execution of ServiceChannel’s global commercial strategy. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Build, lead, and scale the IDC commercial organization, initiating with Relationship Managers, and scaling to include future commercial capabilities. 

  • Develop and execute the long-term strategy for the IDC sales organization, ensuring alignment with company revenue objectives and growth priorities. 

  • Partner with US leaders for hiring, onboarding, performance management, coaching, and career development for all IDC commercial team members. 

  • Establish a high-performance culture focused on accountability, operational excellence, customer outcomes, and revenue growth. 

  • Drive forecasting accuracy, pipeline management, business reviews, and performance reporting across the organization. 

  • Partner with U.S. Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Marketing leaders to ensure alignment of priorities, processes, and customer engagement motions. 

  • Design and implement scalable operating models, playbooks, and standard operating procedures to support continued organizational growth and efficiency. 

  • Partner with the Sales Operations team to support reporting, analytics, process optimization, territory planning, and CRM governance. 

  • Monitor key business metrics and proactively identify risks, opportunities, staffing requirements, and process improvements. 

  • Build organizational readiness for expansion into future commercial functions, including Sales Operations, Business Development Representatives (BDRs), Solution Consultants, and Net-New Account Executives. 

  • Serve as the primary executive liaison between IDC and U.S.-based leadership. 

Required Skills & Experience 

  • 10+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management, Customer Success, Revenue Operations, or related commercial leadership roles, preferably within a SaaS environment. 

  • 5+ years of direct people leadership experience managing customer-facing revenue teams. 

  • Demonstrated success building, scaling, and leading high-performing commercial organizations. 

  • Proven track record of driving revenue growth, customer retention, forecasting accuracy, and operational excellence. 

  • Exceptional spoken and written English communication skills and executive presence. 

  • Deep familiarity with CRM and revenue technologies, including Salesforce and related commercial systems. 

Preferred Skills & Experience 

  • Experience building or scaling offshore, global capability center, or shared-services commercial organizations. 

  • Experience leading SMB, Mid-Market, Account Management, Renewals, Customer Success, or Business Development functions. 

  • Experience supporting both customer retention and net-new customer acquisition motions. 

  • Experience in Facility Management and/or relevant verticals.
