Accountabilities:

    As a Presales Architect, you will play a key role in driving technical success throughout the customer journey. You will partner with sales teams, customers, and internal stakeholders to design solutions, demonstrate capabilities, and guide organizations toward the right technology strategies.

    • Partner with account executives and partner managers to lead pre-sales activities, including opportunity qualification, product demonstrations, proof-of-concepts, RFP responses, technical documentation, and enablement sessions.
    • Act as a trusted technical advisor by understanding customer challenges, conducting discovery sessions, and designing solutions aligned with business objectives.
    • Create and deliver engaging product demonstrations and technical presentations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Develop scalable solution architectures and communicate best practices for implementing communication technologies and APIs.
    • Build strong relationships with customer leadership teams by translating technical capabilities into measurable business value.
    • Identify organizational needs, recommend improvements, and contribute strategies that enhance team effectiveness and customer outcomes.
    • Share knowledge across the presales community by creating reusable materials, presentations, and technical resources.
    • Mentor less experienced team members and contribute to building a culture of technical excellence and collaboration.
    • Represent the organization at customer meetings, industry events, and internal initiatives as a technical thought leader.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate combines extensive pre-sales experience with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and the ability to influence complex customer decisions. You should be comfortable operating independently, solving ambiguous problems, and connecting technical solutions with business impact.

      • 12+ years of experience in pre-sales, technical consulting, solution architecture, or customer-facing technical roles supporting complex products.
      • Strong ability to communicate technical concepts, business value, and ROI effectively to diverse audiences, including executives and technical teams.
      • Proven experience designing customer solutions and guiding organizations through technical decision-making processes.
      • Strong understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Azure and modern application architectures.
      • Experience with software development concepts and familiarity with APIs, cloud applications, telecommunications, contact centers, or security technologies.
      • Ability to collaborate with sales teams, partners, engineering groups, and customers to deliver successful outcomes.
      • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all organizational levels.
      • Experience working with partners such as system integrators, technology partners, or solution providers.
      • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline or equivalent practical experience.
      • Experience leveraging AI productivity tools, including large language models, technical writing assistants, or AI-powered demonstration platforms, to improve efficiency and accuracy.
      • Preferred experience in public sector, healthcare, nonprofit, social impact, or other mission-driven industries.

        • Competitive compensation package with estimated salary ranges depending on location:
          • $163,640 – $204,550 for eligible locations including Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Vermont, and Washington D.C.
          • $172,736 – $215,920 for eligible locations including New York, New Jersey, Washington State, and California outside the San Francisco Bay area.
          • $181,824 – $227,280 for eligible locations within the San Francisco Bay area.
