This is a Full-Time role working Monday-Friday, Daylight hours. This is an onsite role. The expected annual salary range for this role is $47000 - $69000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you’ll do:
The Quality Technician provides quality support for assigned product lines and manufacturing operations. Assists in maintaining quality systems, conducting inspections and investigations, resolving nonconformance issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Works with cross-functional teams to improve product quality, customer satisfaction, and operational performance while ensuring compliance with Eaton Quality Management System requirements and applicable industry standards.Roles & Responsibilities• Support warranty and customer complaint investigations by gathering data, reviewing returned products, documenting findings, and assisting with corrective action implementation. • Analyze quality performance metrics including FPY, scrap, rework, customer complaints, and audit results to identify trends and improvement opportunities. • Maintain calibration records and support measurement system compliance activities for assigned areas.• Participate in product line quality reviews and cross-functional meetings to communicate quality performance and improvement opportunities. Assist with training team members on quality procedures, inspection requirements, and quality system expectations.• Support assigned product lines and manufacturing operations by investigating quality concerns and assisting with implementation of corrective actions.• Perform inspections, audits, and quality assessments to verify compliance with product specifications, procedures, and quality standards.• Assist in root cause investigations utilizing quality tools such as A3, 8D, Pareto analysis, Fishbone diagrams, and 5-Why methodology. • Process and investigate nonconforming materials, including containment activities, documentation, verification of corrective actions, and communication of quality concerns. • Maintain quality records, procedures, work instructions, inspection plans, and other controlled documentation required by the Quality Management System. • Participate in internal audits and support corrective action activities resulting from audit findings. • Assist manufacturing and support functions in establishing and maintaining quality control methods and inspection techniques.• Support implementation of continuous improvement projects focused on reducing defects, improving process capability, and enhancing customer satisfaction.• Other duties as assignedQualifications:
Basic (Required) Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.2+ years of experience in manufacturing, quality, testing, inspection, or a related technical environment.Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now and in the futureNo relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the facility listed will be considered.
