Lead efforts within Supply Chain functions including materials, production, inventory, demand management, and order fulfillment. Ensure internal and external customers’ expectations and requirements are met from end to end in each of the supply chains. Manage daily operations across functions to ensure a dependable and efficient supply chain. Promote Corporate Supply Chain initiatives for electrified components and lead the cross-Business Unit planning processes to ensure intra-company alignment. Mitigate long-term supplier constraints by collaborating with functional stakeholders. Develop, understand, and improve necessary supply chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Analyze operational trends and develop corrective action plans. Address supply chain failures promptly to ensure operations stability. Prepare and manage an annual operating plan including expense, resources, and capital. Use analytics and algorithms to determine the optimal level on inventory investment across the end-to-end supply chain within specific constraints (warehouse space, customer delivery, etc.) as part of Inventory Management and Optimization. Provide expertise on planning parameter refinement and develop inventory strategies to support Cummins’ strategy. Utilize advanced tools including Business Intelligence (BI) Dashboards and Oracle Cloud SaaS to perform Global Material Planning related to parts availability, inventory optimization, and root cause analysis. Assess gaps in the supply chain performance against the expectation of achieving target deliverables. Interpret KPIs to understand end-customer impact, and strategically balance trade-offs to influence one KPI while minimizing the impact to others. Balance the tensions of inventory, cost, and delivery within the first-fit or aftermarket business segments. Optimize manufacturing by balancing supply and demand, scheduling production, managing inventory, and coordinating with various departments including procurement, quality control, and logistics. Meet customer demand while minimizing costs and optimizing resource utilization.

Positions require a Master’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field and 3 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer, Supply Chain or Production Planner, Master Scheduler, or related position. Alternatively, the employer will accept a  Bachelor’s degree in Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering, or related field and 5 years of experience as an Industrial Engineer, Supply Chain or Production Planner, Master Scheduler or related position. Experience to include: Promote Corporate Supply Chain initiatives for electrified components; Develop supply chain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); Address supply chain failures and develop corrective action plans; Determine the optimal level on inventory investment; Inventory Management and Optimization; Planning parameter refinement; Global Material Planning utilizing tools including Business Intelligence (BI) Dashboards and Oracle Cloud SaaS; Balance inventory, cost, and delivery; Optimizing resource utilization.
