Accountabilities:
- Submit, monitor, and manage dental insurance claims to maximize reimbursements and minimize denials.
- Investigate denied claims, prepare appeals, and provide all required supporting documentation.
- Post insurance payments, reconcile electronic funds transfers (EFTs), process adjustments, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Generate reports and provide regular billing updates during scheduled client meetings.
- Ensure claims are submitted with complete documentation, including narratives, radiographs, and clinical notes.
- Build strong relationships with assigned dental offices by delivering responsive, high-quality billing support.
- Maintain accuracy, compliance, and productivity while managing multiple client accounts in a remote environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum of one year of dental billing experience required; two or more years preferred.
- Proven experience with dental insurance claims, accounts receivable follow-up, appeals, payment posting, and insurance aging.
- Proficiency with dental practice management software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, Open Dental, or similar platforms.
- Comfortable using Google Workspace and other remote collaboration tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to documentation accuracy and compliance.
- Strong time management, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote teams and clients.
- Must reside in the United States. Applicants residing in California or Massachusetts are not eligible for this position.
- Availability to participate in virtual meetings and maintain some daytime working hours.
- 100% remote position with flexible scheduling and workload management.
- Part-time opportunity with the potential to transition into full-time within approximately six months based on performance and business needs.
- Commission-based compensation with full-time earning potential of $40,000–$80,000+ annually, depending on workload and assigned offices.
