Job Description -

  • Review bank statements and remittance advice
  • Investigate and accurately identify details of incoming payments
  • Issue refunds for credit notes in accordance with credit policy and customer approval
  • Coordinate resolution of queries and manage disputes effectively
  • Communicate with customers via phone and written correspondence
  • Communicate with internal departments to support issue resolution
  • Provide AR activity reports to the AR Team Manager or Customer as requested
  • Apply country-specific knowledge of taxation and accounting rules, particularly for cross-country transitions
  • Deliver the required documentation and data for audit purposes
  • Ensure adherence to critical metrics and deliver services as expected to end users
  • Maintain timely contact with clients via email and phone for collection activities
  • Follow up on outstanding accounts and disputed items
  • Identify opportunities for continuous process improvement and propose innovative solutions to the AR Team Leader
  • Prepare, validate and send dunning / collection letters
  • Maintain customer master data, including new setups and updates
  • Apply accounting process controls aligned with internal policies (SOX)
  • Perform customer account reconciliations and bank reconciliations
  • Provide customers with copies of invoices and credit notes upon request
  • Produce required monthly reports
  • Support to AR Team Leader and Regional AR Analyst for credit control activities when needed
  • Provide regular and ad hoc reporting on process performance indicators
  • Create and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Support ad hoc requests from the Business Group and local units
