We are looking for experienced architects who can develop detailed architecture and transition blueprints that guide successful customer deployments, migrations, and platform transformation initiatives. Additionally, you’ll create repeatable deployment blueprints that become the templates for all customer deployments. These will be used to develop our services practices, to enable our delivery teams, our partner teams, and our customers to deploy our secondary storage solutions applications. The ideal candidate is someone who has 5+ years' experience in architecting, documenting, deploying, and enabling others.
These practices will utilize the architecture sold by our account teams to achieve customer-committed solutions. In addition to building these solutions, this role will also spend considerable time validating these procedures in the field and teaching partners and customers how to apply these in their environment.
In this role, you will be working with engineering, systems engineers, tech marketing specialists, and customer support to build out professional services practices starting with the architectural blueprint that covers assessment, architecture design, migration planning, deployment and governance, to be used by delivery teams, partners and customers.
HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE
Deliver architecture designs and professional services to Cohesity customers
Lead customer transition initiatives from assessment through deployment completion, serving as technical authority for migration strategy, workload prioritization and execution planning.
Identify technical, operational, security, and business risks and establish transition plans prior to implementation.
Act as a trusted advisor to customer architects, infrastructure teams, and executive stakeholders
Review and approve design deviations, implementation decisions and deployment readiness milestones.
Build strategic relationships with key customers and Cohesity teams
Collaborate with Cohesity’s product solutions, product management and engineering teams to bridge the gap between technology capabilities and customer requirements
Present architecture recommendations, deployment strategies, and technical risks to executive and technical stake holders.
Engage directly with customers to understand their organization needs and identify how Cohesity’s product features can best support their objectives
Develop detailed solution designs including architecture diagrams, sizing specifications, integration requirements, and risk assessments.

Provide field feedback to Product Management and Engineering teams regarding deployment challenges, feature gaps, automation opportunities, and customer requirements.
Define technical architecture including sizing and performance that meet customer requirements
Engage with teams to ensure Deployment Designs are successfully deployed
Develop best practices for the deployment designs that translate to project plans
Continually improve deliverables as we scale and release new features/products
Inspect deliverables for success and improvements.
Work with others to develop post-deployment documentation (run books, pre-deployment templates, etc.)
Provide feedback to Implement Engineers, Systems Engineers, and engineering on ways to improve the overall experience

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of professional IT experience

Excellent communication and project-related skills are required.

Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
Pay Range :
$137,360.00-$171,700.00The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.
