Accountabilities:

    The Head of Search & AI Visibility will own the overall strategy, infrastructure, and measurement framework that drives discoverability across search platforms and AI-powered answer engines. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, strategic vision, and cross-functional leadership to establish scalable practices and measurable business outcomes.

    • Lead the technical SEO strategy and roadmap, including site architecture, crawlability, indexation, structured data, and organic search performance.
    • Build and execute AI search visibility strategies that improve presence across generative AI platforms and answer engines.
    • Develop frameworks, tools, and processes to measure visibility across traditional search and AI-powered discovery channels.
    • Establish and track emerging performance metrics, including share-of-answer, competitive visibility, and AI citation influence.
    • Create executive-level reporting that connects search performance, AI visibility, pipeline contribution, and revenue impact.
    • Partner with Web, Growth Marketing, Brand, Content, Product Marketing, and Engineering teams to align search strategy with broader business objectives.
    • Define content architecture and governance standards that improve consistency, scalability, and discoverability.
    • Lead engineering-adjacent initiatives related to technical optimization, structured data implementation, and platform improvements.
    • Evaluate new AI search trends, technologies, and tools to maintain a competitive advantage.
    • Mentor and guide teams while establishing best practices for enterprise-level search optimization.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is an experienced search and digital visibility leader with a strong background in technical SEO, AI-powered search optimization, and enterprise technology environments. They should be comfortable influencing executive stakeholders while translating complex technical concepts into measurable business strategies.

      • Proven experience leading technical SEO programs at scale, including site architecture, schema implementation, crawl optimization, and organic growth strategies.
      • Experience building or scaling AI search and answer-engine visibility programs using specialized platforms or equivalent solutions.
      • Strong understanding of emerging AI search technologies, generative AI platforms, and citation visibility strategies.
      • Ability to define, implement, and communicate new performance metrics such as share-of-answer alongside traditional SEO indicators.
      • Experience partnering with engineering teams on technical search initiatives and platform improvements.
      • Strong background in B2B SaaS, enterprise technology, or similarly complex digital environments.
      • Demonstrated ability to communicate search strategy, performance insights, and recommendations to executive audiences.
      • Strong analytical skills with the ability to connect digital visibility efforts to business outcomes.
      • Experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving marketing, content, product, and technical teams.
      • Strategic mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving search and AI landscapes.
