DESCRIPTION:
As a Program Manager II at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you'll contribute significantly to innovation and excellence across our organization. You'll coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver complex programs and projects that directly support our mission of enabling customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer. Working in a dynamic, matrix environment, you'll manage all aspects of program execution from initiation through successful delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs. You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients to facilitate decision-making, maintain program control, and deliver results within established scope, schedule, and budget constraints. REQUIREMENTS:
• Advanced Degree and 2+ years of program/project management experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or life sciences industry
• Preferred Fields of Study: Engineering, Life Sciences, Chemistry, Business Administration, or related field
• PMP certification or equivalent project management certification preferred
• Strong knowledge of GMP, quality systems, and regulatory requirements in pharmaceutical manufacturing
• Demonstrated experience coordinating cross-functional teams in a matrix environment
• Excellent financial acumen including budget management, forecasting, and revenue tracking
• Advanced proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office suite
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with ability to work effectively at all organizational levels
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with data-driven decision-making
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects while maintaining attention to detail
• Demonstrated ability to identify, assess, and mitigate risks proactively
• Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
• Adaptable approach to changing priorities and deadlines
• English language proficiency required for collaboration
• 10-15% travel may be required based on business needs
• Experience with continuous improvement and process optimization methodologies
