This role sits within our Product & Technology function in our Amsterdam office, home to over 300 talented professionals, where cross-functional teams design, develop and scale the products that millions of users rely on every day across our Benelux marketplaces, Marktplaats and 2dehands/2ememain.
As a Senior Product Manager for Trust & Safety, you will play a critical role in driving the strategic direction of our Trust, Identity and Moderation products. You will lead the development and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.

As a Senior Product Manager for Trust & Safety, you will play a critical role in driving the strategic direction of our Trust, Identity and Moderation products. You will lead the development and execution of the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and customer needs.
What you’ll do
- Drive the end-to-end product lifecycle and roadmap strategy, leveraging market insights and customer data to deliver differentiated Trust, Fraud-detection and Moderation solutions.
- Partner with peer PMs and senior stakeholders to define a unified vision, serving as a proactive liaison to Legal, Compliance, and Customer Ops to align on policies early.
- Conduct in-depth market analysis and competitive research to identify opportunities for product differentiation across moderation and trust.
- Lead cross-functional squads and mentor associate PMs to launch high-calibre, data-driven products in fraud prevention, ATO, identity verification, regulatory compliance or content moderation.
- Partner with engineering to ensure specifications are met, applying a strong grasp of how LLMs, generative AI, and autonomous agents can transform safety and verification systems into a competitive advantage.
- Develop GTM rollout strategies that ensure operational readiness.
- Maintain transparent intake and prioritization frameworks, define KPIs, and track performance to drive continuous, data-driven improvement.
Who you are
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of delivering successful products.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Experienced in managing complex product initiatives, leading cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior PMs.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Well-versed in agile methodologies and experience with agile tools (e.g., Jira)
- Strong understanding of market trends and competitive landscape.
- Experience with user research and user-centered design.
- Positive energy, hands-on mindset, and exceptional team player qualities.
