Location: Bucharest, Romania

HR Business Partner (GBS – Bucharest) | Key Responsibilities

  • Execute people plans aligned with business strategy and organizational priorities.

  • Partner with leaders on workforce planning, organizational design, and talent optimization.

  • Coach and support managers on performance management, leadership effectiveness, employee development.

  • Provide expert guidance on Romanian labor legislation, ensuring compliance with employment laws, internal policies, and HR processes.

  • Manage employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, grievance handling, and conflict resolution.

  • Support end-to-end recruitment activities, partnering with Talent Acquisition teams and hiring managers to attract and retain top talent.

  • Drive talent reviews, succession planning, and initiatives that strengthen future organizational capabilities.

  • Support change management, transformation, and organizational development projects within a complex matrix environment.

  • Analyze people metrics and trends to identify risks, opportunities, and value-adding actions for the business.

  • Foster employee engagement, inclusion, and a positive employee experience across the organization.

Profile

  • 8+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner in a dynamic multinational environment.

  • Experience within Global Business Services (GBS), Shared Services, or SSC environments.

  • Strong knowledge of Romanian employment legislation and practical experience applying labor law in employee relations cases.

  • Proven experience managing disciplinary actions, investigations, and complex employee relations matters.

  • Experience supporting recruitment and talent acquisition activities in partnership with business leaders.

  • Solid expertise in performance management processes and manager capability building.

  • Previous experience working in matrix organizations with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.

  • Strong coaching, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Demonstrated project and change management capabilities, with a proactive, results-oriented mindset.

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business insights into practical people solutions.
