Accountabilities:
- Support the preparation and consolidation of annual budgets, rolling forecasts, and multi-year financial plans.
- Develop and maintain financial models related to revenue, gross margins, indirect rates, and scenario analysis to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare monthly operational reporting packages, variance analyses, and key performance indicators to provide actionable business insights.
- Analyze project profitability, indirect expenses, and financial performance trends to support monthly close activities.
- Maintain and validate business development pipeline data to ensure accurate forecasting inputs.
- Partner with finance, accounting, operations, and commercial teams to align financial objectives with business strategies.
- Assist with internal and external audits, regulatory reporting, and indirect rate submissions by preparing supporting documentation and schedules.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and contribute to enhancing financial planning tools, reporting capabilities, and decision-support processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Minimum of 4 years of progressive experience in financial planning, corporate finance, accounting, or related analytical functions within organizations exceeding $100M in revenue.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, financial ratios, and business performance metrics.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with financial planning systems such as Adaptive, OneStream, or similar platforms.
- Experience building complex financial models and conducting scenario and sensitivity analyses.
- Familiarity with federal government contracting environments and regulations such as FAR, DFARS, and CAS is highly desirable.
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CFA are considered an asset.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insights.
- Strong organizational abilities, attention to detail, and capability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen and eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
