The core hours are Monday through Thursday from 7:00 am - 4:00 pm and Friday from 7:00 am - 11:00 am.This position is eligible for a variable pay incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. What you’ll do: In the Assembly Technician role, you assemble, wire, fit, and modify work in the manufacture of medium and high voltage, indoor and outdoor assemblies, breaker and auxiliary compartments, breakers, customer service orders, power modules, and any sub-assemblies associated with these.Follow manufacturing information, electrical and mechanical drawings, sketches, and written or verbal instructions from supervisors or engineering, in accordance with established procedures.Complete ISO checklists, quality checklists, customer checklists, feedback forms, and production lists as required by supervision, drafting, customer service, and engineering.Mount and install electrical equipment and perform wiring operations as needed.Regularly lift, handle, and assemble heavy copper components.Maintain minimum Kanban inventory levels and promptly report shortages to the appropriate operators.Inspect all assemblies to ensure hardware is secure and nothing is missing, and confirm overall cleanliness and workmanship.Respond to change notices, customer-requested adjustments, and development-related updates.Assist engineering, drafting, and supervision with customer-driven development or prototype work.Work from detailed drawings, sketches, manufacturing information, and supervisor or engineering instructions, adhering to all established procedures.Effectively train and coach colleagues to support knowledge transfer and skill development.This job posting describes the general nature and level of work being performed and is not intended to be an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, duties, or skills required.
