Waldorf Astoria London - Admiralty Arch is seeking a Host for Café Boulud Restaurant, to join the pre-opening team for this highly anticipated new luxury hotel opening later this year.
This is a unique opportunity for an experienced luxury hotelier to join the founding team and help shape the guest experience at this landmark hotel.
Located at the end of The Mall opposite Buckingham Palace, Waldorf Astoria London – Admiralty Arch will feature 100 elegant rooms and suites and 17,500 sqft of private residences. The hotel will open with two signature restaurants - Coreus by Clare Smyth and Café Boulud by Daniel Boulud - bringing together two of the world’s most celebrated Michelin-starred chefs. Guests will also enjoy a world-class spa, state-of-the-art fitness facilities, and a collection of grand event spaces, including a ballroom for up to 320 guests.

Here's what you'll do during a typical day:
As a Host for Café Boulud Restaurant, you will be the first and lasting impression of the restaurant, setting the tone for an elegant and seamless guest journey. You will manage arrivals, seating, and table presentation while supporting service excellence across Café Bould Restaurant.
You will perform the following responsibilities to the highest standards of luxury service:
- Welcome guests with grace, warmth, and professionalism, ensuring an exemplary arrival experience
- Coordinate restaurant seating with precision to optimise flow, comfort, and service cadence
- Support refined up‑selling initiatives, articulating current offerings and seasonal highlights with confidence
- Ensure immaculate table presentation in line with Café Boulud and brand standards
- Adhere rigorously to cash‑handling procedures and financial controls
- Respond to guest enquiries promptly, courteously, and with solutions‑focused attention
- Uphold all Café Boulud, Hilton brand, and service standards without exception
- Actively support the achievement of departmental performance and service objectives
- Maintain exceptional cleanliness, organisation, and presentation within all assigned areas
- Comply fully with hotel security policies, fire regulations, and health and safety legislation
- Adhere to all local licensing and alcohol service regulations
- Demonstrate environmental awareness and support sustainability initiatives
Collaborate seamlessly with all departments to ensure fluid service delivery and strong working relationships

- Prior experience within a luxury or ultra‑luxury hospitality or service‑led environment is highly desirable.
- Experience with cash handling and point‑of‑sale systems
- Knowledge of food hygiene standards and safety regulations
