Accountabilities:

    As a Production Systems Engineer - Audio, you will oversee all technical and operational aspects of audio production systems while serving as the key expert for large venue events and projects. Key responsibilities include:

    • Partnering with project managers, sales teams, creative teams, and clients to design and pre-plan audio solutions for live events.
    • Developing technical drawings, production plans, equipment requirements, labor estimates, and budget recommendations.
    • Collaborating with warehouse teams and inventory stakeholders to design systems and coordinate equipment availability and sub-rental requirements.
    • Providing technical guidance and recommendations on technologies, methodologies, and operational best practices.
    • Managing on-site audio production activities to ensure events meet or exceed client expectations and organizational quality standards.
    • Configuring, testing, troubleshooting, and operating high-end audio equipment and systems as required.
    • Leading and supporting technical crews, including audio technicians, production staff, and local labor teams.
    • Ensuring adherence to production, safety, and operational standards throughout event execution.
    • Managing post-event activities, including labor reconciliation, expense tracking, equipment maintenance requirements, and project reporting.
    • Gathering event feedback and documenting lessons learned to support future client engagements and continuous improvement initiatives.
    • Maintaining strong client relationships and providing exceptional service throughout all phases of event delivery.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate combines deep technical expertise in professional audio systems with strong leadership and customer-facing capabilities. Preferred qualifications include:

      • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experience.
      • Minimum of 5 years of experience within large-scale live event audiovisual environments.
      • Expert-level technical knowledge and hands-on experience with professional audio systems and technologies.
      • Strong familiarity with major audiovisual brands, components, and large venue production environments.
      • Minimum of 2 years of crew leadership or team management experience.
      • Demonstrated ability to design, configure, operate, and troubleshoot advanced audio production systems.
      • Excellent project planning, organizational, and multitasking skills.
      • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with the capacity to perform effectively under pressure.
      • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
      • Customer-focused mindset with proven experience delivering high-quality service to internal and external stakeholders.
      • Ability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and on-call assignments.
      • Willingness and ability to travel up to 75% as required by business needs.
      • Ability to work in dynamic event environments, including hotel and convention center settings.
