Accountabilities:
- Own frontend features end-to-end, from discovery and prototyping through implementation, release, and long-term maintenance.
- Collaborate with product managers and designers to shape solutions, validate feasibility, and refine user experience through iterative design and development.
- Build and maintain scalable, high-quality frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and modern web technologies.
- Ensure strong performance, accessibility, responsiveness, and cross-browser compatibility across the product.
- Translate user needs and product requirements into intuitive, reliable, and maintainable UI components.
- Participate actively in architectural discussions, frontend system design, and continuous codebase improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to product discovery by analyzing user behavior, feedback, and data to guide engineering priorities.
- Write and maintain robust unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure product quality and stability.
- Continuously improve engineering practices, including refactoring, performance optimization, and adoption of modern frontend standards.
- Work closely with backend engineers to define and integrate REST API contracts effectively.
- 3+ years of professional experience working with React in production environments.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Solid understanding of modern frontend architecture, component-driven development, and state management patterns.
- Experience working in collaborative Agile environments (Scrum or Kanban).
- Familiarity with monorepos and version control workflows using Git.
- Experience building responsive, accessible, and performant web applications.
- Ability to work closely with designers and translate UI/UX concepts into technical solutions.
- Experience integrating and working with REST APIs in collaboration with backend teams.
- Strong testing mindset, including unit and integration testing; experience with Playwright or Storybook is a plus.
- Understanding of design systems and reusable UI component development.
- Nice to have: experience with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions) and knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards.
