Accountabilities:

    As a Business Development Representative (BDR) Manager, you will lead the execution of outbound growth initiatives while developing a talented team of BDR professionals. You will combine coaching, strategic planning, and operational excellence to improve pipeline generation, conversion rates, and sales effectiveness.

    • Manage, coach, and develop a distributed team of BDRs across North America and EMEA, creating a culture of accountability, feedback, and continuous improvement.
    • Conduct regular one-on-one coaching sessions, call reviews, and pipeline reviews to improve prospecting quality, discovery skills, and conversion performance.
    • Own BDR hiring, onboarding, ramp plans, quota management, and performance development processes.
    • Build and refine outbound playbooks, messaging frameworks, sequencing strategies, and personalization approaches.
    • Partner with Sales and Marketing leadership to translate campaigns and account-based strategies into effective outbound execution.
    • Own outbound contribution to sales-qualified opportunity (SQO) goals by monitoring pipeline health, conversion metrics, and forecast accuracy.
    • Establish operational discipline around activity tracking, funnel performance, and pipeline quality improvement.
    • Identify and resolve outbound funnel challenges, including deliverability, engagement rates, and meeting-to-opportunity conversion.
    • Optimize AI-assisted sales tools by improving workflows, qualification criteria, routing logic, and human-to-AI lead handoffs.
    • Collaborate with revenue operations and marketing teams to evaluate sales technology performance and implement scalable improvements.
    • Bring market insights and prospect feedback back to leadership teams to strengthen targeting, positioning, and messaging.
    • Promote a high-performance sales culture focused on learning, experimentation, and measurable outcomes.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is an experienced sales development leader with a strong background in building outbound programs, managing distributed teams, and driving measurable pipeline growth within technical B2B environments.

      • 5+ years of experience managing outbound BDR or SDR teams, preferably within cybersecurity, PTaaS, or related technical B2B industries.
      • Demonstrated success building and scaling BDR processes, including creating playbooks, improving funnels, and establishing repeatable outbound programs.
      • Proven ability to achieve pipeline and SQO targets through effective team leadership and sales development strategies.
      • Experience managing remote or geographically distributed teams across multiple time zones.
      • Strong knowledge of sales engagement platforms such as Salesloft or Outreach, sales intelligence tools including Apollo, ZoomInfo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and dialers such as Orum or Nooks.
      • Experience working with AI-powered sales tools or conversational AI solutions in a go-to-market environment.
      • Ability to analyze sales funnel data, identify performance gaps, and implement improvements based on insights.
      • Strong coaching and leadership skills, with the ability to provide direct feedback and develop high-performing teams.
      • Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams.
      • Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments where processes are continuously improved.
      • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently and solve complex challenges.
