As an Associate within the Investment Specialist Support team, you will partner closely with Investment Specialists to deliver high-quality investment insights, client materials, and performance analysis across alternative strategies.
You will play a key role in translating complex investment information into clear, client-ready content while managing deliverables across stakeholders. This role combines analytical capability, content ownership, and project coordination to support both client servicing and business development efforts.
Job Responsibilities:
- Investment Insight and Narrative Development
- Analyze fund and portfolio performance, including attribution across strategies
- Translate investment insights into clear, concise client-facing commentary. Support development of market updates, fund narratives, and other ad-hoc materials
- Client Materials and Content Ownership
- Lead preparation of pitchbooks, portfolio reviews, and bespoke presentations
- Ensure consistency, accuracy, and alignment of messaging across materials. Support preparation for client meetings, including briefing notes and follow-ups
- Business Development Support
- Partner with Investment Specialists to develop marketing materials and thought leadership
- Contribute to responses for client queries and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).Support product positioning and communication strategies, with a focus on APAC markets
- Coordination and Project Management
- Coordinate deliverables across global teams (Investment, Research, Risk, and Marketing). Manage timelines and oversee output quality across multiple workstreams
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- At least 7 years of relevant experience in asset management, investment strategy, or product specialist roles
- Strong understanding of alternative investments (hedge funds, multi-strategy, macro)
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Strong analytical capability, including understanding of risk and return metrics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to synthesise complex information
- High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
- Proactive mindset with ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Progress toward or completion of CFA and/or CAIA
- Experience working with investment data, reporting systems, or analytics tools
- Familiarity with automation tools (e.g., Python) a plus
