Accountabilities:

    • Lead and manage complex accounting and audit engagements, ensuring high-quality execution from planning through delivery.
    • Apply accounting principles, auditing standards, and regulatory frameworks to support sound decision-making and organizational performance.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, managing day-to-day communication and project expectations.
    • Oversee audit project teams, providing technical direction, review, and quality assurance of deliverables.
    • Design and implement audit and financial management solutions aligned with federal regulations and compliance requirements.
    • Analyze client requirements and develop structured, practical recommendations to address financial and audit challenges.
    • Deliver presentations and lead stakeholder meetings to communicate findings, status updates, and recommendations.
    • Ensure all deliverables comply with contractual requirements, including Performance Work Statements (PWS).
    • Requirements:

      • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field.
      • Minimum of 6 years of relevant financial or business experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership role on government audit or audit advisory engagements.
      • Strong understanding of federal financial regulations, including FAR, OMB Circular A-123, A-127, A-134, and FISCAM.
      • Experience supporting U.S. federal government entities such as the Department of Defense or Defense Logistics Agency.
      • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project).
      • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills.
      • Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage multiple priorities in complex, regulated environments.
      • Eligibility for or possession of a relevant professional audit or financial certification from a recognized authority.
      • Must meet IT-II Non-Critical Sensitive designation or Tier 3 (T3) background investigation requirements.
