Accountabilities:

    • Provide front-line patient support by handling inbound communications, triaging symptoms, and escalating urgent cases to healthcare providers when necessary.
    • Assist with care coordination tasks including appointment scheduling, follow-ups, referrals, and communication between patients and clinical teams.
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic medical records (EMR/EHR), ensuring all patient interactions and clinical notes are properly documented.
    • Support providers with medication instructions, lab result communication, and ongoing patient care management under clinical supervision.
    • Ensure all documentation and workflows comply with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA standards and internal protocols.
    • Coordinate administrative and operational tasks such as billing support, reporting, and workflow organization to improve efficiency.
    • Contribute to a seamless patient experience by delivering compassionate, timely, and professional communication in both English and Spanish.
    • Requirements

      • Minimum 2+ years of hands-on clinical experience in a hospital, clinic, or medical office setting.
      • Valid Medical Assistant certification/license required; Registered Nurses (RN) or MDs are highly preferred.
      • Strong knowledge of medical terminology, clinical procedures, and patient care protocols.
      • Proven experience with patient triage, urgency assessment, and clinical decision support.
      • Hands-on experience using EMR/EHR systems for documentation and patient management.
      • Advanced English proficiency (C1 level) and full professional fluency in Spanish.
      • Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skills with strong attention to detail.
      • Ability to work independently in a remote environment during U.S. business hours.
      • Familiarity with HIPAA compliance and U.S. healthcare workflows is highly desirable.
