Job Description
As a Security Officer Unarmed CPR Patrol in Louisville, KY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic aerospace and defense location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help to deter security-related incidents, and support site personnel with exceptional customer service and communication. - Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control activities, and/or emergency response support at an aerospace and defense location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting security-related concerns and communicating observations to the appropriate personnel.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, restricted areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information, and follow site protocols for deliveries, escorts, and access to controlled areas.
- Support assigned post operations by preparing clear reports, maintaining awareness of site activity, and assisting with security-related procedures during routine operations and/or special situations.
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
- CPR and First Aid are preferred.
- CPR certification is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
