Accountabilities:

    The Coordinator Associate will serve as a key point of contact throughout the mortgage process, supporting borrowers and internal teams by ensuring loan files progress efficiently and accurately. The role requires strong organization, attention to detail, proactive communication, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a high-volume environment.

    • Act as the primary contact for borrowers throughout the loan process through phone calls, emails, voicemail, and messaging channels.
    • Conduct proactive borrower outreach, including regular check-ins, follow-ups on outstanding items, and updates on loan progress.
    • Maintain accurate records of file statuses, tasks, notes, and borrower interactions within internal systems.
    • Support documentation collection by clearly communicating requirements, resolving missing information, and helping remove closing-related blockers.
    • Review loan applications and supporting documents, including credit, income, asset, and underwriting-related materials, to support processing activities.
    • Assist with preparing loan files for underwriting review by ensuring required information and documentation are complete.
    • Collaborate with internal teams such as title, insurance, and processing functions to accelerate document collection and resolve delays.
    • Partner with loan consultants and coordinators to track file status, manage priorities, and support successful loan completion.
    • Identify system issues, workflow challenges, or escalation needs and communicate them proactively to appropriate stakeholders.
    • Contribute ideas for process improvements and help enhance the overall borrower experience.
    • Remain compliant with company policies, quality standards, and applicable regulatory requirements.
    • Requirements:

      The ideal candidate is a customer-focused and detail-oriented professional with experience in mortgage, real estate, insurance, or related operations. They should be comfortable working in a fast-moving environment, managing multiple tasks, and communicating effectively with customers and internal teams.

      • 2–3+ years of experience in mortgage, real estate, insurance, or a related field preferred.
      • Strong verbal and written English communication skills for daily interactions with borrowers, internal teams, and business partners.
      • Ability to analyze and review documents with strong attention to accuracy and detail.
      • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines.
      • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities with a proactive approach to identifying solutions.
      • Comfortable working in a high-volume operational environment with repetitive processes and structured workflows.
      • Strong customer service mindset with a passion for creating positive borrower experiences.
      • Ability to collaborate effectively as part of a team and support shared goals.
      • Openness to coaching, feedback, and continuous learning.
